Born in London Steve has been singing since the age of sixteen. He began his career as lead singer of PRIVATE FUNCTIONS who were a feature in many top London clubs.

After the band split he embarked on a solo career singing mainly soul but also provided backing vocals for Pauline Black from the group 'Selector'.

Steve has appeared in a number on television, most recently , Michael Barrymore's MY KIND OF PEOPLE.

Steve does three great tributes:
