Deborah has been singing from a very early age. In fact ,
since about the age of three , she was singing along with the
music on the radio.
The singing bug really grasped her and, at the age of ten , she
entered and won various local talent competitions.
When she was 15 she joined a band - Steve Hare & the Bunnies
- run by Ronnie Williams ( formerly known as Bobby Wayne &
the dixies) who produced such stars as Bonnie Tyler, Mary Hopkin,
and Terry Williams ( who played drums with Dire straits and Dave
Edmunds).
After going solo, Deborah worked the club scene in Wales and
has had lots of residential work.
She has also worked in various Butlins and Pontins holiday centres
with such stars as Freddie & the Dreamers, Racy, The Baron
Knights, and many others.
Deborah has always been drawn to the sound of Gloria Estefan
and the Miami Sound Machine. Every time she sang one of Gloria's
songs , people would approach her and say how much she sounded |
